WHO WE ARE

A New Generation of Innovators, Inventors, and Investors
#WeAreWearables

Revolutionizing the Face of the Wearable Tech Industry

Wearable technology touches almost every business sector, from mobile connectivity to medical monitoring to fitness trackers and smartwatches. According to the International Data Corporation (IDC) analysis, the global wearable tech market is forecasted to reach 300 million tech shipments by 2026. In comparison, this is nearly 5 times the 62 million shipments in 2018-19.

The massive demand for wearable tech has jumpstarted new generations of smart devices and opened the door for technology so popular that people can’t seem to live without it. It’s no secret that wearable technology is taking the world by storm. And Wearable Tech Ventures is here to bridge the gap between corporations, investors, angel investors, government institutions and founders, especially women and people of color.

Revolutionizing Wearable Tech

Remember the old days when people had to count their steps in their heads, use a stethoscope to check their heartbeat or sit at a computer to check emails. It’s hard to imagine when you know there’s now a wearable device available to do all of those things. While tech giants like Fitbit, Samsung, Apple and Microsoft are paving the way, there’s still room in the market for ambitious startups, particularly women and people of color, to revolutionize innovations in wearable technology.

With an ambitious goal to develop and promote 100 wearable startups by 2030, we are actively collaborating with innovative companies in the tech space. We’re confident that with your support, we’ll undoubtedly achieve that goal.

To drive our mission, we’ve curated an incredible opportunity for Fortune 500 companies, entrepreneurs of color, angel investors and venture capital funds to partner with us to identify innovative talent and wearable founders to develop profitable technical solutions to everyday problems.

Funding the Future

Wearable gadgets are evolving at a rapid pace. What started with Fitbit and similar tech has now snowballed into an entire industry of wearables designed to help us lead more efficient lives.

With the innovations we’ve seen from wearable startups, we know we’re only witnessing the tip of the iceberg. That’s why it’s such a great time to invest in bottom-line-boosting technology by joining Wearable Tech Ventures in our mission to develop and promote 100 wearable founders by 2030.

We are the global ecosystem dedicated to developing and promoting wearables.

This means bringing people to the table to solve problems that directly affect them, and supporting the development of those solutions.  First, we provide education and experiential opportunities to explore the world of wearables. Then, we identify promising Founders who can be developed as strong leaders and integrate them into our network of fellow innovators, investors, and promotional partners to assist in their success. By 2030, our goal is to contribute to 100 successful startups led by Founders who are traditionally under resourced and underrepresented.
